Introduction

The AE4050  monitor is a single channel gas detection system featuring Lo and Hi adjustable alarm points that are normally set at 50 ppm and 100 ppm respectively. The alarm activates separate 5 amp relays which can turn on various electrical devices such as fans or warning lights.

High Reliability

All of the major components on the Model AE4050 have more than a 5 year expected life with the sensors being the only exception. The expected lifespan of the sensors is 3 – 5 years depending on the environment. The Model AE4050 has no expensive “built-in” maintenance requirements such as lamp replacements, regular changes of corrosive liquids or extensive time consuming calibrations.

Sensor Temperature Compensation

Airwave incorporates temperature compensation at the sensor. By using compensation at the sensor, it’s response is unaffected by ambient temperature changes and calibration can be conducted regardless of temperature. This provides an accurate measurement of gas concentrations.
