AE-HP-PAPI LED Precision Approach Path Indicator

The LED Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) guides aircraft during the approach to the runway. Red and white lights project wide-angle horizontal beams into the glide slope along the flight path. These are installed adjacent to the runway, and are available as standard four-unit systems or abbreviated two-unit systems.

Features:

  • LED as light source, improving power consumption and reducing maintenance requirements. Requires 95% less power than equivalent incandescent light
  • Power supply available in AC (110, 240VAC), DC48V or solar power
  • Uniquely designed polycarbonate lens for converging light, additionally providing corrosion resistance and UV protection
  • UV protection powder-coated bright yellow base provides improved visibility
  • Housing material includes corrosion-resistant stainless steel and protection against shock and vibration
  • Frangible couplings reduce secondary damage to aircraft in case of collision
  • Optional clinometer and solar power system modifications
